ABOUT US

AFRICAN WRIST (AW) is a media group focused on showcasing the patronage of haute horology in the African context.

AW was first created on Instagram by Ahmed Kofi Edusei from a desire to possess a voice on the subject of horology. He quickly realized that there was no media showcasing the stories of African collectors and enthusiasts and has therefore worked to establish this through AFRICAN WRIST.

The group produces digital horology-focused lifestyle content for publication online. AW also hosts events throughout the continent and diaspora to enable the interaction between collectors, enthusiasts, brands and vendors.

THE AW PURPOSE

  • Showcase patronage of haute horology by Africans
  • Consolidate the continent-wide community of watch collectors and enthusiasts
  • Provide a channel through which watch brands and retailers may reach consumers on the continent

I am an avid watch fan with a heavy bias towards pieces that I like, critical of brand gaffes, and completely indifferent to a lot of the hype!
